The webinar, moderated by Dr. Funda VEREN, featured Prof. Dr. Yurdanur DİKMEN, a faculty member at Kocaeli Health and Technology University's Faculty of Health Sciences, as the speaker.

In her presentation, Prof. Dr. DİKMEN highlighted the development of the digital nursing paradigm and the increasing role of technology in healthcare. Emphasizing the importance of balancing nurses' knowledge and clinical intuition with the rapid advancement of technology, DİKMEN evaluated the transformation of nursing within the framework of the Health 4.0 concept.

The webinar also covered innovative approaches such as wearable technologies, mobile health applications, and robotic nursing, as well as the effects of digitalization on the nursing profession and the emerging new sub-roles. The importance of using artificial intelligence in nursing care, and the contributions of augmented reality and metaverse applications to education and care processes were also explained with examples.
