It was opened in 1992 with an associate degree program in nursing, which was converted to a bachelor's degree program in 1997. The health officer department was opened in 2001. With the law that went into effect in May 2007, male students began to be accepted to nursing departments; the existing nursing and health officer departments were combined. Education is still provided in the Nursing Department. Our department has eight departments: Fundamentals of Nursing, Internal Medicine Nursing, Surgical Diseases Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, Child Health and Diseases Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Public Health Nursing, and Nursing Management.
