With the law that went into effect in May 2007, male students began to be accepted to nursing departments; the existing Nursing and Health Officer departments were merged. The faculty members of the Departments of Health Management, Social Service, Child Development, Emergency Aid and Disaster Management, Audiology, and Gerontology are being formed and will begin accepting students as soon as possible. Our faculty, together with all its faculty members and administrative staff, strives to achieve the goals it has adopted in order to achieve excellence in education, training, and research activities. Our faculty has ten classrooms, two nursing skills and practice laboratories, two Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation laboratories, a computer laboratory, a library, a conference hall for 150 people, canteen areas, and volleyball-basketball and table tennis facilities. The fact that five of the clubs affiliated with the Health, Culture and Sports Department of our university are in our building allows our students to work in these clubs. In 2010, our faculty moved to its new building on the health campus, where Bülent Ecevit University Health Application and Research Center and faculties providing education in the field of health are located.
In order for our students to internalize the information they have acquired in theoretical courses, they participate in practices in institutions that provide preventive, curative and therapeutic services, accompanied by their teaching staff. These practices are carried out in various hospitals, workplaces, schools, rehabilitation centers and health centers determined according to the content of each course.
