Letter from Mothers to Their Babies - Social Responsibility Project
BEUN Health Sciences Faculty Nursing Department 2nd year students carried out a social responsibility project titled "Letter from Mothers to Their Babies" under the coordination of Dr. Lecturer Yeliz DİNÇER within the scope of the Social Responsibility Project Course. In the project carried out within the scope of 2025 being the "Family" year, students supported mothers with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Zonguldak Maternity and Child Diseases Hospital to write a letter and envelop their feelings, expectations, dreams and hopes. With this activity, it was aimed to make mothers with babies in the intensive care unit feel the love, commitment and emotional bond they feel for their babies and to emphasize the power of family contact, thus ensuring that a permanent and emotional memory of life was left.
