Hope from Mother to Mother - Volunteering Project
BEUN Health Sciences Faculty Nursing Department 2nd year students carried out a volunteer project titled "Hope from Mother to Mother" under the coordination of Dr. Lecturer Yeliz DİNÇER within the scope of the Social Responsibility Project Course. In the project carried out within the scope of 2025 being the "Family" year, students prepared a "First Breastfeeding Emotion Board" for the breastfeeding room in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Zonguldak Gynecology and Pediatrics Hospital for mothers with babies to use and donated this board to the relevant unit. With this event, it was aimed to create a space full of hope and solidarity for mothers of babies receiving treatment in intensive care, and it was ensured that mothers support each other by writing down their feelings and thoughts in order to emphasize the importance of sharing feelings and being a family in such difficult situations.
