The meeting held at the Faculty of Health Sciences was attended by Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Zehra Safi Öz, Faculty of Health Services Dean Prof. Dr. Sibel Koçak, assistant deans and academicians.

At the meeting, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Sibel Koçak made a general presentation on the activities carried out in the 2023-2024 Academic Year. In her presentation, Prof. Dr. Koçak provided detailed information on the activities to be carried out in the 2024-2025 Academic Year, the new academic year plan, the number of academic and administrative staff and students, scientific and social projects completed and ongoing at the faculty, and academic studies. In addition, Koçak provided information on the academic projects they aim to put into action, social and community activities for students, and thanked Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, who has always supported the development of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and concluded her speech.

Following Prof. Dr. Sibel Koçak's presentation, Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer made a general assessment of the 2024-2025 Academic Year. In his speech, Rector Özölçer wished the new academic year to be auspicious for the Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University family and drew attention to the importance of qualified studies to be carried out by all academic units of the University such as health, engineering, human, social, economic and administrative sciences and science. Rector Prof. Dr. Özölçer emphasized that the Faculty of Health Sciences is in a remarkable position not only with its academic achievements, but also with the social and community studies and scientific projects it has carried out with various public institutions and organizations. Emphasizing that innovative approaches should be adopted by considering the use of artificial intelligence technology offered by the digital age in academic education and the importance of sustainable education, Özölçer also drew attention to the need to take a more active role in national and international projects, increase qualified scientific publications and strengthen academic cooperation. Rector Özölçer drew attention to the significant development of the Faculty with its contributions to academic studies and health services and thanked all academic and administrative staff who contributed to this development.

At the end of the 2024-2025 Academic Year General Assembly Meeting of the Faculty of Health Sciences, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer presented certificates of appreciation to academicians who stood out with their scientific studies published in national and international indexes. Following the presentation of the certificate of appreciation, the meeting ended with a group souvenir photo.
